  1. Real good foods makes a great one but it has dairy....My dad who is not a cealic eats it around me and says it taste great. You can find them in walmarts now or order by the case.....I have to go the califlour route with Califlour foods...like a hybrid flatbread new york style one...make it extra cripsy with a long prebake myself and use non dairy cheese...
  2. Only thing I can suggest is perhaps doing small under the table jobs like making and selling stuff on etsy, ebay, etc. I have hand issues and had to give up many hobbies but get by on the bake sales, and chef jobs for what I can...and some other things at time.
  3. Could be, but you need to get her tested. She will have to be eating gluten daily for 12 weeks for this. It is refereed to as a gluten challenge, not much just half slice of bread a day, few crackers, or a tsp of wheat germ. Then they do a simple blood test and check for the antibodies but you need to ask for a FULL celiac blood panel. There are some labs...
  4. EXACTLY I can handle 2-4 hours max around people....even with gluten free and supplements....between the ADHD, Aspergers, supposedly I been told Bipolar and OCD but I just get where I can not be around people, I have to be alone, doing my own thing, with music, and pedaling on a bike.....otherwise I start getting urges to break/run away from it all and go...
  5. Where you tested for Celiac? You have to be eating gluten to get tested, 12 weeks at least half a slice of bread a day or a few crackers or some get by with a tsp of vital wheat germ/gluten. After the blood test a endoscope is needed with multiple biopsies and again at least 2 weeks of gluten consumption daily prior to this. Open Original Shared Link The...
  6. First off you need to get tested for this disease and you have to be eating gluten daily to get tested. Simple blood test first followed by a endoscope which would catch many "Other" issues that might be causing this. Open Original Shared Link Now many of us with this disease can not handle dairy for awhile....lactose intolerance is common as the villi...
  7. Open Original Shared Link The main sales rep has celiac in the family and I have tested all the flavors..and reviewed most of them. They are all gluten free and the dessert flavors are great to enjoy many flavors a bit. Try with a sweetener to really bring them out and I found Decaf to best best for my gut.
  8. Minor exposures will cause me numbness, fog, and various gut issues. But last straight up consumption of gluten for me was back in June 2016. I lost full motor control and was on the floor vomiting for hours unable to move more then my eyes and my head a bit. My pulse dropped to the 30s by my fit bit, my friend thought I was dead since I turned completely...
  9. Just read up on RLS.....wait that is related? I have not been able to sit still for over 4 years....once I started getting energy back and not being stuck sick or in bed I just could sit still....I assumed it was fear of being stuck unable to move without pain lol. I walk or bike over 16 miles a day and start have anxiety issues if not pacing or pedaling...
  10. This disease can only be treated by diet....and it can take time. IF you mess up, eat out and get glutened, do not stick to the diet, get contaminated etc....your going to take much longer to feel better. Quickest way to heal, whole foods only diet, remove dairy and oats, and you can help symtoms by supplementing. The various symtoms are often compounded...
  11. Yeah we had a huge debate while back about the safety of coffee, most are safe, only exception is coffee from bulk bins in stores like whole foods or flavored artisan blends sometimes come into contact with contaminated scoops, ingredients, or in the VERY rare case they might use barley malt or roasted barley in a few flavor options. Name brands are normally...
  12. Cramps, twitch, etc. 2 things to mainly look into, magnesium and B-vitamin complex. Look up defienices in both and you will see many fit your problems and probably find ones you missed. Magnesium 2 main options. IF you have constipation go with Natural Vitliaty Calm dosing at 1/4 tsp (1-2g) and upping it 1/4 tsp too full dose over a week or til you get...
  13. Will be interesting, the random joker card in this is that those with multiple AI disease sometimes have issues determining which one is flaring without careful deliberation and timing with out symptoms. I have Celiac and Ulcerative colitis along with some pancreas issues and digestion and tons of rolling intolerance troubles. Sometimes my vomiting depending...
  14. OK this works best mixing with cold water then zapping it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds and stirring well. I am so debating mixing the dry mix up and selling it in a tub ready to mix at the farmers market.
  15. Got two batches of these out with variations this morning, 1. With real local honey, had better texture and flavor then the first recipe I did, made these for my cousins. 2. I did the first one with lakanto but added in a heaping tbsp of sunbutter...say maybe 2 tbsp? It definitely made the richer/softer and better texture. I am wondering if this would...
  16. I have tried some supplement enzymes when I first went gluten free...bloody nightmare. I recently tried the new glidenX ones when I got accidentally glutened....they helped shorten my symptoms that I noticed MUCH less pain, but I still have the long term complications from that glutening....They do not prevent damage, and your still hurting yourself eating...
  17. Cream of rice is basically instant congee, it can be made savory or sweet a type of rice gruel that is very popular among asian cultures. The instant kind is much thinner but also 10x quicker then the standard prep method...I used to live off the stuff over 4 years ago right after my celiac diagnosis. WIll make a great breading corn and gluten free, I also...
  18. Sounds like doing a gluten challenge for the testing is going to be near impossible. If it has only been a few weeks since you got off you might still be able to go to the doctor and request a celiac blood test and see about getting a endoscope done and biopsy. The endoscope would also show anything wrong in your throat as they go down. http://www.cureceliacdisease...
  19. Common issues with this disease are food intolerance issues, it sometimes happens you body associates a food with the foods that were making you sick and you become intolerant to them. In processed foods common ones can be xantham gum, certain starches, dairy, soy, peanuts, etc. A whole foods diet helps avoid these. Many times a intolerance will go away over...

THOSE are YOUR dedicated gluten free ware....see no worries you can wash them in a different sink if it make you feel better. OH here is a idea. little foldable table, set up in your...
  21. Yeah I like meat flavors..but I can not digest them, red and poultry cause major issues due to pancreas issues. I do sometimes have fish but gave up all meats other then egg whites for lent. It does get epensive living when your protein comes from nuts and seeds and vegan protein powders I body build and go through pea protein and vegan protein powders...
  22. If drinking at a bar...bring your own glass, common CC issues are bars just rinse out the glasses during rush hours, the drink it before yours could have been beer.....
  23. Sorry for being late to this....I am dealing with some odd health issues myself. I can give a few tips. gluten free cookware ina gluten house...look up nordicware microwave cookware, you can get omelette makers, rice cookers, veggie steamers, grill plates (splatter cover is a must) these are cheaper then getting all new pots and pans. Gluten proteins can...
  24. As I mentioned I had some random vomiting.....well fact is it has been happening since my gluten exposure back November. It was almost every night around the same time 3-5 hours after eating dinner. After my exposure last month it became more consistent almost every night same time....but it is not really like vomiting.....just burping up 2-8 mouthfuls averaging...
