If I were you I would call your doctor and get the OK to go gluten-free now, if you aren't currently. You only need to eat gluten until the tests are done.

The only medication I've seen possibly linked to celiac disease is Benicar, and it's unclear if there is a real link, although there are lawyers suing the maker for this: https://www.celiac.com/tags/benicar/

One Blood Test Can Now Diagnose Celiac Disease without Biopsy

This is a small percent of people. What this article means is that the vast majority of people will not need a biopsy, and it is no longer the "gold standard" of diagnosis. The gold standard is now blood screening, and only in a small number of cases should a biopsy be considered. Gastroenterologists will be bummed. 😄 -
@Bouchra hopefully the 3rd time is the charm! Actually it's pretty awful that this is still happening given the vast amount of information that anyone can find with a simple search about celiac disease. You should only need to be diagnosed once, and then should go gluten-free for life right after, no if's, and's, or but's! There is no such thing as "celiac...

Pure tomato juice is naturally gluten-free, but be sure to read the label of any commercial product that may contain additional ingredients. -
Be sure to keep eating gluten until the tests are done. Also, did you get another blood test for celiac disease? This should have been done before your biopsy.

So you were diagnosed with celiac disease, but apparently were not following a gluten-free diet? You said: "...since I stopped following gluten-free," so I assume you've been eating gluten during this 20 years. If so, this would likely be the cause of your severe nausea, and hopefully you don't have cancer, but keep seeing your doctor until you find out....

Actually all, or nearly all those with DH have celiac disease, and will test positive for antibodies. Some with DH don't , but many do. I did, and did have DH on one are on the top of my hand. After a severe sunburn from fishing on a lake at 7,000 ft. I never had DH there again--I don't recommend this method of treatment!

His doctor told him that "you don't have celiac disease and can eat gluten without concern," but a few months later started having serious issues. A shot in the dark here, but when you go gluten-free are you getting enough fiber? Are you replacing the typical wheat products with not so healthy starch-filled gluten-free versions? These things might cause what you described.
