  1. Progresso also has a Chicken Rice & Vegetable soup that's marked gluten-free and is easy to find in most grocery stores. Are you feeling better today, Jen?
  2. I buy my Reynolds parchment paper at Wal-Mart (it's in the section with the aluminum foil, wax paper, etc.) and it's probably also available around here in regular grocery stores, too. I do reuse it, too...it all depends on what condition it's in. I especially like it for for baking cookies but have used it on a cookie sheet when I bake hamburger buns,...
  3. I've used them without a problem. I can't believe that wheat would be listed as the first ingredient in any chocolate chips. I just looked at a package of their bittersweet chocolate chips in my pantry and there's no wheat listed.
  4. Another possibility is baby shampoo although I haven't tried it. I had planned to try Garnier shampoo/conditioner but if it's heavy, it might not be good for my hair either. That said, I really do like Garnier moisturizer and eye cream.
  5. Welcome to the forum, Aunia! You might want to check our Newbie 101 info and feel free to ask questions you may have. There's a wealth of information on the forum in many different topics so read away. We were all newbies once so have been in your shoes.
  6. I use Suave shampoo and conditioner, which is readily available at Wal-Mart and just about everywhere else. And it's really inexpensive. Have you tried it? Edit: I should also add that I have very fine hair.
  7. Here in the U.S. modified food starch is a safe ingredient. If it was made from wheat, it would have to be declared on the label.
  8. This sounds so good. I used to love the pan pizzas. What size pan did you use?
  9. Actually WOW Baking Co. is in Kent, WA. I've tasted their Oatmeal Cookies and they're really good.
  10. I've used the Bear Creek Creamy Potato as well as the Creamy Wild Rice without a problem. They have now changed their website so I hope they haven't changed their ingredients. Open Original Shared Link I first read about their gluten-free soups Open Original Shared Link. I do hope this list is still accurate...it's over 2 years old. If you check into...
  11. Welcome to the forum, Kirsten! Since you have replied to an old post, it's highly unlikely that Rachel will see your question since she hasn't been on the forum since Sept., 2009. Just so you now...
  12. It is so easy that way and they don't go to waste...some years I've given tomatoes to neighbors or anyone who would take them off my hands. My son and DIL's tomatoes didn't do well this year so they can have some of mine. Tonight for dinner...a bunless hamburger and ??? and sliced tomatoes.
  13. Yes...now I don't have enough that they could can but I will have lots more than I can eat myself. I had a different variety last year that did not do well at all so this year I went back to Early Girl and it bears prolifically until frost. If I get too overrun, I've even in the past thrown them in a bag in the freezer (I usually cut the top off and...
  14. Oooh...glad you gave me those directions!!! I make crustless quiche as it's so much easier. Plus my hips really don't need that crust anyway. I don't really use a recipe. You can google the basic filling ingredients, mix them together and then put them in a buttered pie pan (I use Corning Ware or glass). I did throw in a couple of tablespoons of...
  15. My daughter (also celiac) lives in Denver and it sure sounds like a gluten-free haven to me. She has no idea how fortunate she is. BTW, Denver is the home of Udi's, Rudi's is located in Boulder and Canyon Bakehouse is in Loveland, CO.

    ARCHIVED Las Vegas

You might want to use the google button and do a search for Las Vegas restaurants. I believe there have been some fairly recent topics on it.
  17. Hmmm...that's not exactly what my kids would have thought as being a "kids" meal. I told my son last night on the phone that I was going to be ready to give them tomatoes this week...even if I eat them 3 times a day, I won't be able to use them all. And I have only one Early Girl tomato plant, which will produce until frost.
  18. Would you please let me know when you're making this again and give me directions to your house? I'm going to have some leftover spinach quiche and a salad.
  19. Modified food starch is a safe ingredient for us. If it contained any of the gluten grains, it would have to be declared on the label. It's kind of puzzling to me that it would be in a soft drink though. Be aware though that some people do have problems with artificial sweeteners. Personally I just don't like the taste of them...or I should say the...
  20. I think she must have eaten it herself!

You're the only one who can see that info on your profile...not even the moderators can see it. So no worries.
  22. It is gluten-free according to their website. Open Original Shared Link
  23. Can you add another post to those topics to clarify what you wanted to say?
  24. How about Kelloggs Gluten-Free Rice Krispies? They're made from brown rice and aren't any more expensive than other mainstream cereals found in grocery stores.
  25. A BLT on Annalise Roberts' Basic Sandwich bread and potato chips. I haven't had a BLT for ages and my Early Girl tomato plant is becoming prolific.
