  1. I probably have $1.98. But if we all save up our money between now and then, maybe we could hire someone!
  2. Amen, sista!!! If it wasn't so dang cold up there in the winter, I'd move in with her (but she said I had to shovel the snow. ) I'm having a pork chop, red potatoes, spinach and I have some strawberries in the fridge I just have to use up.
  3. King Arthur also has a delicious gluten-free chocolate cake mix. I haven't tried their newer gluten-free yellow cake mix yet but I bet it would be good, too.
  4. Welcome to the forum! The OP hasn't been on the forum since last Aug. 11 but you can send her a message by clicking on the little envelope below her avatar. Hope this helps.
  5. Go to http://www.celiac.co...n-free/members/ and do a search for kenlove. You can then send him a PM.
  6. YES!!! If I lived next door, I'd have been over the minute you posted this!!! Love it all.
  7. No rain here either...my brown crunchy lawn hasn't been mowed since June 20. At this rate I may not get a bill from the lawn care company this month.
  8. They're sure taking a long while to get here!!!
  9. Of course I'll make one for you...never mind that I haven't made one for 40 years! Hahaha Oh wait...I can't do that as I threw out the doll years ago...it was getting kind of ratty. Fresh fruit is still my favorite dessert...although I still have a couple of pieces of Lemon-Blueberry Pound Cake left that will be eaten until the last crumb is gone...
  10. Nope, I don't know Annalise but most cookbook authors can be reached and she responded quickly to my question. Sorry to disappoint you. I only have a Kugelhoph pan because I took a cake decorating class when I was pregnant with my daughter and made doll cakes for her when she was little. I bet L2T has far more fancy schmancy pans than I do!!!
  11. PA was pretty miserable last week...we hit 100
  12. You're welcome, caselynn! I'll be looking forward to hearing how yours turns out. I love this thread, too...however, my hips do not!!! Please note that I added an edit to the recipe I posted after contacting Annalise last evening about the sinking blueberries. And if you make this, make sure you use the right size pan so you don't end up with...
  13. Aw, you're too sweet IH! Help, I think I need a MUU MUU, too! Sora, where are you when we need you!!! Hahaha
  14. Yes, Irish Heart made me do it! And I don't wanna see any more fork marks on anyone's monitor! The recipe is a gluten-free Open Original Shared Link with a lemon glaze. Recipe is by Annalise Roberts from Gluten-Free Baking Classics, one of my favorite baking books. I did use Authentic Foods Gluten-Free Classical Blend flour. It's so fine and...
  15. While Ben & Jerry's doesn't have a list of gluten-free products, they recommend you read the label each time. Of course, that doesn't address the possibility of cross-contamination. That said, Cherry Garcia is one of my favorites...right up there with Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream. I haven't had a problem with either.
  16. Sounds yummy!!! Well, at least you lost 3 lb., which I think is more than I can say!
  17. Welcome to the forum hnh! You might always want to check out the Newbie 101 info posted here in the coping section.
  18. I've never seen them either and if they are that good, I don't think I need them. That's also the very reason I don't buy Glutino Sesame Pretzel Rings very often.
  19. It's really hard for me to visualize things like that...actually scary to see what a small amount of gluten it is. This was posted on their FB page this morning: "Every person with celiac disease has a different threshold for how much gluten can be tolerated before activating the disease
  20. Welcome to the forum, Lindsay. If you're looking for recipes, also check out the recipe section of the forum. You'll find we eat pretty well and are not at all deprived.
  21. Here's a good reference of what 50 mg of gluten looks like: Photo was taken from the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center's Facebook page. Open Original Shared Link
  22. You're better than normal!!! I just plussed you again.
