      Nutrients Information
      As you all know this is very important to all celiac's. However there are many celiac's who also are diabetic, and the nutrient information is vital in the dose of insuln given...I'm sure your site can help with this matter. I have gotten some wonderful recepies from this site, but I'm sure you could also supply this information to us as well. It would make it alot easier to count carbs. and so on. I know for a fact that there have been at least 6 more children with diabeates who have been recently found to be celiac as well. Although I use Bette Hagmans books for everything...because of her nutrients listing, I still like to find other recepies to widen the range of delights I can offer my daughter. Please consider adding this to your posted recepies. Valerie

      Hi, My name is Valerie, My daughter Alissa is 11yrs. old and just diaignosed with celiac disease. She also is diabetic., Since Dec. 2002. I have done some research and am using Bette Hagman cookbooks, but there are still some reg store items that can be used, at least I think so. This reading and understanding lables is so confusing.
      I am trying to keep her gluten free and still be able to count carbs so she can still have some of the things she likes...She has been amazing concerding everthing she has been through in the last 2 years. So I guess what I'm asking is any information on anything that would help...Sure would make grocery shopping alot eaiser...and make it easier on her too. Valerie
