The Celiac Support Group for Children, Inc. is pleased to announce open
registration for this summer's Camp Celiac 2004. Celebrating our fifth
anniversary, Camp Celiac is a dedicated camp experience for children and
young adults ages 7 to 16 with Celiac Disease. Held in N. Scituate, Rhode
Island, the camp is closed to all other groups during our stay, making for
a dedicated camp experience. Children enjoy canoeing, row boating,
swimming, outdoor adventure programming, arts and crafts, nature hikes,
group initiatives including high and low ropes, a carnival...

Wild Oats is, as Janet pointed out earlier this week, jumping on the
gluten-free bandwagon in a BIG way! One of the things they're doing is
having me tour some of their stores and talk about celiac disease, living
(and LOVING!) the gluten-free lifestyle, doing cooking demonstrations, store
tours (of their gluten-free products) -- talking in general about gluten-free living.
Next week I'll be on the East Coast -- the schedule is this (6:30 - 8:00
each night):
8/18/04: Portland, ME
8/19/04: Hartford, CT
8/20/04: Westport, CT

Please join the Denver Metro Chapter CSA/USA for our annual potluck summer
picnic Saturday, August 21, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. The picnic will be at
Cushing Park in Englewood in Shelter #1. Please bring a beverage (for your
own family), and a main dish and one side dish or dessert to share. (Don't
forget to bring recipes and detailed ingredients). We will provide table
coverings, paper goods and utensils. We look forward to seeing you there!

The JACKSONVILLE GLUTEN FREE GROUP meeting will be held on 8/21/04 Saturday 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
It will be held at Baptist Medical Center - Downtown
It will be held in Room "B" - Lower Level, (The meeting
may not last the full time but the room is ours if we need it.)
Visitor Parking is in the Palm Avenue Garage. It is marked as "visitor
parking". There is no fee to park here. (To get to room "B" you can enter
the lobby through the ground floor of the garage, walk by the information
desk and go down one level...
