Well-known cookbook author, Connie Sarros, will be speaking to our group. She
will be sharing gluten-free baking tips along with general information about
the diet. Connie has written four gluten-free cookbooks. The books are

2:00. The meeting will be at the Barry Brown Educational Center,
Virtua/West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees, NJ. This will be a Q & A session.

This Sunday, September 19 @ 2:30 PM, Dr. Alessio Fasano from The University
of Maryland's Center for Celiac Research will be our guest speaker. Dr.
Fasano is a leading researcher and expert in celiac disease who has made great
progress in raising awareness of celiac disease in the United States. Both Madelyn and I
have heard him speak, and he is both entertaining and educational. We hope
you can make it!

The Illinois Valley Celiac Support Group will meet on September
19th at the Marseilles Fire Station at 1:30pm for all that wish to
attend. More recipes will be covered plus new general information. We
will be handing out information about a new vendor we found; The Gluten
Free Cookie Jar. They are from Meshoppen, PA. I have no monetary ties to
them, just like their products and customer service.
