Today, I finalized our October dining event with Chef Gene! I have
attached the Blue menu and reformatted it slightly. The gluten-free items
are keyed and highlighted in royal blue. I didn't delete the non-gluten-free items
so you could see the entire menu. Also, I know we have several non-celiac
spouses who may want to come. Chef Gene can make a gluten-free dessert for
us but we need to decide which one and provide a count when I make the
reservation - so please specify your preference in your rsvp. Sorry, I
forgot to get a price on these.

Our group is now listed as Resource Unit #3017 on the Celiac Sprue Association's Web site.(Omaha, NE). This information will also appear in their quarterly publications to members, the Lifeline. This association gathers information & publishes the Gluten-Free Product Listing which is so valuable when we are first diagnosed and need guidance in locating 'safe' products...

The LV Celiac Disease Support Group is having a get together at Water To Go. All members of the LV Celiac Disease Support Group will receive a 15% discount off all gluten free products. There will be a list handy for anyone to add requests for gluten free items they want to see Water TO Go carry. gluten-free food samples will be available, as well as celiac disease literature and a gluten free presentation. Water TO Go offers lower prices on gluten free foods than other gluten free food outlets and have been wonderful about letting us meet at their store.
