Minneapolis/St. Paul will be hosting the 7th Annual Walk/Run for Celiac Disease Research and Awareness on Saturday, May 17, 2008. Hundreds of people will walk/run to raise money for celiac disease research and awareness. This year's event will be held at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria, MN. Please visit www.celiacwalk.org (click on Minneapolis) for run pre-registration forms, walk registration forms, pledge/donation forms, and directions.
Run registration is $15; there is no registration fee for walkers. Please bring pledges/donations to the registration...

DeCicco Family Markets is holding a gluten-free event in their Ardsley, NY, store:
Saturday, May 17 1:00 to 4:00 pm 21 Center Street Ardsley, NY (Westchester County)
Come meet Anne Lee, Nutritionist at the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University,who will hold a Q & A session.
In addition there will be demos and sampling by gluten-free vendors, including: Joans Great Bakes, Everybody Eats, Grainless Baker, Gourmet Solutions, Red Bridge Beer, Bell & Evans, and Baking with Brodie (gluten-free custom decorated cakes and other baked goods).

The 2nd Annual Grand Rapids Gluten Free Food Fair is being held at Kuyper College, 3333 East Beltline NE, Grand Rapids, MI.
Date: May 17, 2008
Time: 10:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm.
Door Prizes, donated by vendors, every half hour.
Over 20 vendors will be attending with at least 10 additional vendors supporting through gift baskets and samples. Plenty of products will be there to sample and purchase. Kids activites will be available throughout the event. This event will be fun for all ages!
