Bring an actual dry good container or other empty container of your favorite
gluten-free products to share. Also, bring your favorite gluten-free recipes to use in our
upcoming gluten-free Cookbook. A local health food store will be our guest with gluten-free food
samples.

Wild Oats is, as Janet pointed out earlier this week, jumping on the
gluten-free bandwagon in a BIG way! One of the things they're doing is
having me tour some of their stores and talk about celiac disease, living
(and LOVING!) the gluten-free lifestyle, doing cooking demonstrations, store
tours (of their gluten-free products) -- talking in general about gluten-free living.
Next week I'll be on the East Coast -- the schedule is this (6:30 - 8:00
each night):
8/18/04: Portland, ME
8/19/04: Hartford, CT
8/20/04: Westport, CT

Austin Gluten-Free Friends" meet the 3rd Thursday of every month.
OUR NEXT MEETING: Thursday, August 19th, at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Home of Don & Kay Stence, 2304 Forest Bend Dr., Austin,TX (off
Barton Hills Drive, about 10 minutes from downtown)
We offer support to those with ALL digestive/intestinal problems, and
believe faulty digestion and malabsorption of nutrients to be the major
cause of most health problems and disease. We also welcome those who want
to eat healthy as a prevention to illness.
