The Eugene Gluten Intolerance Group will feature a FREE lecture by Amy Pereira: ENZYMES 101-ENZYMES & YOUR HEALTH, at its February meeting. Amy will talk about the uses of DPP-IV enzyme activity for those with casein and gluten intolerances and will discuss the differences between these intolerances and celiac disease. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 8th at the Clubhouse at 1800 Lakewood Court (off Hwy. 99 North, directly across from the Embers) from 6-8 p.m. Free printed material on celiac disease (gluten intolerance) will be available, as well as a raffle for gluten-free food products. The Eugene GIG is a branch of the national Gluten Intolerance Group and is a non-profit organization. Call 942-8252 for more information.
