Fall Health: Gluten Free Harvest Cooking and Nutrition Class

Discover simple, delicious, and healthy meal preparation to help you settle into Fall. Katie Bauer, MA, NE, CH, a nutritionist, herbalist, and healing foods chef will discuss how your body detoxifies and how to support this process with liver healthy foods that will leave you feeling warm and cozy. She will demonstrate three seasonal, gluten-free, liver-supportive recipes including: Roasted Beet Salad (vegan option or with goat dairy), Moroccan Coconut and Chickpea Soup (vegan), and Kale Salad (vegan). This class isn't just for those that are gluten-free or dairy free, as Fall is an ideal time to take some of the burden off of your liver while taking in nutrient dense foods to prepare your body for Winter. Learn the mechanics of how and why to do this while enjoying good food, a fun environment, and stimulating conversation.
