  1. Ped. Gi In Central Jersey?

Hi Debra I havent been on in a while. I live in Millstone NJ-exit 8 off turnpike south. Not exactly close to NY but a good Ped GI is worth the trip. Have you seen him since you wrote last? Nancy
  2. Hello I was hoping someone might be able to give me the name brand of that chocolate peanut butter bar that is gluten-free? Was it Atkins? Thought it would be a great snack to keep in my bag for a quick safe snack. Thanks all. Nancy
  3. Gf Sausage?

Thanks Jessica I was actually looking for more of an italian style dinner sausage as opposed to a BF sausage.
  4. Hello I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a gluten-free sausage. Like the Italian kind used to make sausage and peppers. My daughter rarely eats meat and the Italian sausage was one of the few she enjoyed before celiac disease diagnosis. Thanks so much for any ideas. Nancy
  5. Hi Dawn Thanks so much for the NJ info. What's really funny is I just spoke to Sue last night on the phone. I came across her group on a support group search. I don't know how I could have missed it in the past. I'm so excited to go to my first meeting with other parents of celiacs. I get choked up with the thought of it. I feel like we are not alone now.Thank you again. Nancy
  6. What is millet and is it safe? I remember reading it was questionable. My gluten-free cereal lists it as an ingredient though.
  7. Hi Tammy I have a three year old daughter with celiac disease. She has been gluten-free four months. Along with a Ped. GI she sees someone who practices alternative med. She recomended Aloe concentrate along with a few other things. It's nice to see someone has had positive results. It's hard to tell if these things do any good with my daughter. Nancy
  8. I'd like to know why non-stick teflon should not be used if properly cleaned? Maybe unseen scratches? I do not use anything porus when preparing my daughters gluten-free food(especially wooden and plastic). She also has her own jelly, peanutbutter and butter. It will become second nature. My Daughter is gluten-free only four months and we are practically experts(my daughter is the only celiac). Nancy
  9. I'm so excited about the script. idea with the Pediasure. It is gluten-free and my three year old loves it. It is very expensive so i called and asked about coupons. They will send them monthly if you call. The prescription is even better! I can't wait to try!! Thanks Nancy
  10. Hello I was hoping somebody might know of a good Ped. GI for my three year old. We are New to NJ and to Celiac. Thanks Nancy
  11. Kinnikinnick makes the best sandwich bread in my opinion. I lightly toast it and it blows all the others away. My three year old eats it and she is just reciently gluten-free. My health food store has it but it can also be ordered at http://www.kinnikinnick.com/
