  1. That's really upsetting. I just bought a bag of Jolly Rancher Fruit Chews because they looked safe, and now I'm wondering if they really are. Sigh! I really miss Starburst...does anyone know if they are safe?
  2. I just wanted to update all of you on the wonderful gluten free bakery I found in Phoenix, AZ. They not only baked my wedding cake but it tasted SO good. I ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate/raspberry ganache filling. The outside of the cake was done in an almond buttercream. I added the flowers to it and they did the rest. If any of you are looking it's called Gluten Free Creations. http://www.uploadfile.info/uploads/50c64a4ff6.jpg The 'post a picture' bbcode isn't working, but you can click the above link to see my cake.
  3. I'm looking for a good gluten free bakery in the Phoenix area to possibly bake my wedding cake for early September. I came across GFC in Phoenix and was wondering if anyone had ever tried any of their baked goods? Are there any other gluten free bakeries in Phoenix? Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks!
  4. I'm getting married in Flagstaff in a couple of months and I was wondering if anyone knew of a gluten free bakery in the phoenix, scottsdale, flagstaff area, etc? I found one place online in Phoenix but I'm not sure if their cakes taste good and I'd rather have a personal recommendation. Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Hi all! I'm sure this question has been asked to death on here but my husband and I are traveling to France next month and will be visiting Paris and the South of France. I have celiacs and am a little concerned about eating out in France since they are bread heavy and use flour in most sauces. Does anyone have any recommendations for a 20-something couple from NYC dining out in the Paris/South of France areas? Is there any particular way I should address the gluten issue at restaurants? I don't know any French and am scrambling to learn the basics like "I'm allergic to flour." I'd be glad to have any recommendations/advice/help. Thanks! Calyandra
