  1. Roy's Hawaian resturants have a flourless Chocolate Soufle that is the best ever!!!!! Also most of their menu items ahve no wheat flour in them, they use rice paper/flour in dumplings and many fried foods. They have a fixed price, 3 course dinner which includes the soufle for only $33.00, quite a deal. The chefs are very sensitive to the gluten-free...
  2. not so, we have been investigating the concept of a commercial gluten free bakery and it is very expensive...these guys use prime ingredients, I have seen it...the cost of xanthene gum alone is the cost of all the ingredients in a loaf of bread. But you are right it is expensive but if you tried it you would understand.
  3. We have searched for 5 years and have finally found a bakery in Brooklyn that has the best gluten-free baked products ever!!! They are expensive but worth it. Try crusty, doughy, flavorful bagette, bagels, dinner and kaiser rolls...check them out. I have met these guys and they are delightful.
