  1. My opthamologist said that some people with ulcerative colitis have really bad eye problems - itchy, red, dry, and feeling like there is a grain of sand under your eyelid. Have you ever heard of this happening with celiac disease?
  2. Shaky hands may be related to a number of neurological disorders including neuropathy (huge list of causes), Parkinsons and other conditions related to dopamine. I'd request a referral from my GP to see a neurologist. Go to an expert.

  5. Can itchy eyes be related to gluten intake? My opthomologist said that he sees several ulcerative colitis cases with horrible eye problems and I'm wondering if wheat intake can cause itchy eyes because it happens to me every time I eat gluten. And then I'm wondering how on earth WHY? What's the GI got to do with the eye, unless it's allergic??? I haven...
