    Okay so I don't know if you remember I said last week that my daughter got tested for Celiac and thyroid and a few other things.... well I received a call yesterday with the results for her blood tests and her stool sample.... my poor baby has salmonella!!!!! They told me to put her on the BRAT diet for 48 hours to see what happens.... I am so worried...

    Thank You for suggestion...I think no matter what that blood test says i am going to feed her gluten free for awhile and see what happens..... I can just see so many of the same symptoms i had before i was diagnosed in her.... from the bloated belly all the time, to the horrible gas, to the awful smelling dirty diapers.     My dd had bloodwork to test for Celiac Disease and Thyroid yesterday. I was more nervous than she was I think.... We went in there and they said they took bloodwork just like they do for an adult right out of the arm.... I am looking at this poor little girl's arm thinking you are kidding me.... Well they did it and I was on the verge of tears watching...

    I went to see my husband at work today and his company had given all of the stores a Wellness Matters little flyer thing. And the guys at his work said you have to read this you'll like it. So I open it up and there is an article about Celiac Disease. It was very cool.... I was impressed since they are a paint company and normally there health concerns...

    My family is coming in to visit from out of town and we are having a big BBQ on Sunday, and my mom wants to make sure I have something to eat other than hamburgers!!! So I was wondering if anyone had a good pasta salad recipe, I am going to use probably rice penne pasta or rice spiral pasta..... Any recommendations!! Thank You!

But I had to share with you guys, since I know that being gluten free I personally eat a lot of peanut butter on apples and rice cakes and such... so I had to share this....     I did have the potato!!!! Man I wish they had told me that. Well I will just remember that next time. But I am going to send them a polite little e-mail or a call just to be more careful when telling people something is gluten free. The show was good though!!!!

    Does anyone know if ALL cider beers are gluten free? How would you be able to tell at a bar especially if it is on tap? I just miss being able to have a beer at a bar with friends, and was thinking that would be a nice subtle way of having a beer with everyone!!!

    I was wondering if anyone has ever had a good experience with the Rainforest Cafe. My husband has never eaten there and he really wants to go. I had the restaurant send me over the menu and it makes me a little nervoud it seems like every thing is covered in BBQ sauce or some kind of zesty sauce.
