  1. Has anyone tried Jay Robb's Egg White Protein Powder? How does it taste? What flavor? If not, can you recommend another gluten-free/Dairy Free protein powder that tastes good? I saw mention of a rice protein powder and a hemp protein powder, but I'd like to know if anyone likes the way they taste before buying. Thanks.
  2. Unfortunately I work in a very small town - the O'Charley's is a town next to us and seems like the safest of my options. I posted on another forum and was pointed to O'Charly's allergen page (I had looked and the site and couldn't find it). Here it is if anyone is interested: www.ocharleys.com/menu/nutrition-allergen.asp Sorry, I don't know how...
  3. My boss wants to take my coworker and me out to lunch and one of the places she suggested was O'Charley's. I just started the gluten-free diet a month ago, so I'm new to eating out. Does anyone eat there? If so, what can I order? Thanks!
  4. I heard that Thai restaurants are a good option for people eating gluten free since the noodles are usually made from rice flour and most of the suaces are gluten free. When you call a restaurant, what specific questions do you ask? I tried calling a local thai place yesterday, but I don't think the manager really understood what gluten was. Any advice...
  5. I've been asked to go to the Cheesecake Factory tomorrow for lunch. Does anyone know if there is anything safe to order? I heard they had a gluten-free menu, but didn't see it online. Thanks!
  6. Does anyone have any advice regarding the blood tests? I'm going to call the doctor but was hoping someone would reply first. Thanks
  7. Hi, this is my first post here. I'm 24, hypothyriod (Hashi's - on Armour) and have B12 deficiency (taking injections) and low ferritin (storage iron - took supplements). I've always had alot of stomach issues. I asked my doctor if celiac was a possibility and he did a blood test, but it was just for wheat or gluten allergy and they came back negative....
