I have been diagnosed with Nutcracker Syndrome -- but my doctor has never come across anyone with this condition and I have contacted numerous medical institutions around the country and really its quite rare -- and they aren't even sure how to treat it. My doctor has never referred to it as Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome and from what I have been reading...
