Norman King

I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1983, following several years of tests. I had been a small boy in the 7th/8th grades weighing only 66 pounds in the 8th grade (born April 6, 1946). Had a growth spurt the next year and my weight went up to 122 - that was 1961.

After graduating high school in 1964, I entered college and two years later I joined the Marine Corps weighing 148 lbs. and went to Vietnam Nam in May 1967. I came back from Nam in January 1969 weighing 113 pounds. I had been exposed to Agent Orange - mentally and physically I was struggling. Started seeing doctors - finally had diagnosis of Celiac disease in 1983, followed by further diagnosis’s of hemochromatosis, osteopenia, diplopia, and pulmonary fibrosis.
