    I was so excited to try the Kix now that they have the new formula, and they tasted so good, but I got glutened from what I believe may be cross contamination.     Thank you for all of your replies. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I also become very irritable as well as teary and anxious. My husband can tell when I've been glutened before I even tell him when I suspect I have been accidentally glutened. I'm just starting to feel less teary as of today since my last post, but I'm still feeling a bit off. Hopefully...

    I was curious - how long does it take all of you to feel the emotional effects of being glutened? I got glutened this morning by a bowl of Kix which I believe must have had cross contamination.     Wow! Great info! Thanks Maddycat! That's really exciting about the gravy! It's funny - pre diagnosis I never would have thought I'd be excited about gravy! But since being diagnosed and gluten free for 2+ years, I get excited with each new gluten free find!

    Hello Everyone, I'm in the process of figuring out the menu and shopping list for Thanksgiving, and I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a recently updated list of gluten free turkeys? I think Shadybrook farms Turkeys were gluten free as of last year. Are there any others? Thank you!

    Hello, I'm from the Bangor area. Hannafords has a gluten free section. The Shaws on Main Street in Bangor also has a decent gluten free section. The Natural Living Center in Bangor near the mall has the largest variety of gluten free foods in Bangor. Whole Foods in Portland is the best selection, however it's quite a way from Bangor.

    I don't know about Portland area, but I had a gluten free wedding cake made by Taylor Made Parties in Augusta. I provided them with the recipie because she had never made a gluten free wedding cake before, and it came out awesome. She said she kept the recipie for others who may want a gluten free cake in the future. She does cakes for all occassions.

    Hi! I'm from Brewer and was diagnosed about a two years ago. I rarely go out to eat, but when I do, it's always Bugaboo Creek in Bangor because they have a gluten free menu. I discovered that Uno's has a gluten free menu from their website, but haven't tried going there yet. I was wondering if any of you have tried eating gluten-free in at the Bangor...
