About Me

About me:

1. I've been cooking gluten free since I married my husband in September of 2003. He had issues with wheat for years before we were married, but didn't get any relief until after our wedding.

2. I became unable to eat wheat after our first child was born. I was later diagnosed with a wheat allergy.

3. We eat so well that we don't miss being gluten free.

4. My two-year old often asks for scones for breakfast. He may be a bit spoiled by his gluten free baking mom.

5. Having homemade bread mixes in the freezer is a life saver.

6. I work full-time as a CPA but still manage to cook supper most nights.

7. My next gluten free baking goal is yeast rolls.

8. I often wonder why we didn't eat rice very often before I went gluten free. It's a staple in our diets now.

9. I publish my gluten free recipes at www.glutenfreecookingschool.com

  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. We have a huge family gathering and I always take enough that I know that my husband and I will get plenty to eat. In the past we've taken our own stuffing and gravy and usually a vegetable dish. This year, since are vegetarian now too, I'll take stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole, baked tofu, and some other veggie dish. Some of it we will share with everyone...
