  1. Balmex helps me too but doesn't address the cause. I think it is either stool leakage or more probably excess bile salts in the stool that are irritating. I think the best strategy is to bulk up the stool with fiber or absorb the bile salts with questran. Unfortunately questran seems to irritate my GERD. Always something
  2. I tested positive at enterolab. I just saw Dr. Green in NYC to get his opinion. He took blood but did tell me that he feels enterolab is quzckery. Not sure what to believe. I have tested negative for sprue through conventional testing in the past. I will get the results in about a week. I tend to agree with Dr. Green as enterolab doesn't make much sense...
  3. 31608.1 Did anyone have the symptom of constant burping, reflux, and upper bloating prior to their celiac diagnosis? I have these symptoms and as wondering if gluten could be my problem. I tested negative for sprue but decided to try the stool testing at enterolab and they came back postive for gluten sensitivity. My doc says my symptoms are not sprue...
  4. Why can't you drink absolute? I have a glass 3 or 4 nights a week. I was told all vodka was ok even if it is grain based.

  6. Hi. I would be grateful if anyone could help me. Do these symptoms sound like sprue? I have constant burping, acid reflux, abdominal bloating, tons of gas, rectal itching, dry eyes(blepharitis), and sport injuries that never seem to heal.
