Thanks for all the great advice! We did have celiac panel done and it came back neg. she was also tested for CF and that was neg. We recently found out that my husbands (paternal) uncle and cousin have celiac so with symptoms I am thinking lets rule this one out. My hope is that she will start gaining weight...she looks like we starve her. But we don... -

Hi I am wondering how long you go on a gluten free diet to determine if gluten is actually a problem? Also what type of grains need to be cut out? Doing this for our 14mo daughter she has had little gluten to begin with...how long does it take to see results? Thanks for any help you can give. -

I have a 13month old who was given the blood test for celiac and it was neg. However I think that she may have it. I would like to take some facts to him and see what he thinks about doing a challenge or further testing. Does anyone know of any good reliable sites? Has anyone else tried this what have your results been? Thanks

I have a 13 month daughter who was being test results were neg. for celiac. Her symptoms are little weight gain in 6 months time so her Dr. suggested testing. She is still nursing but doesn't sleep through the night and has eczema and stuffy/runny itchy nose. We are going to see an alleregist, but I am wondering has anyone here seen a naturopath for celiac... -

Thank you for all the useful info!! The nice things is my doctor has aready order a test and we are waiting to hear. I didn't know that most infants receive a false neg, kind of depressing!! From all the info on this wonderful site I am thinking entire family will go gluten free, that way no worry at home. Is it true some people can not tolerate gluten... -

We are just starting this whole process and I have lots of question I hope that someone may be able to answer. Here is a little history... my daughter is 13 month old and isn't gaining weight current weight 17lbs 8oz. Has always had eczema and runny/stuffy nose.
