  2. Thanks everyone that helped me to remember why I am staying gluten-free. All of you are correct and I have been feeling much better it is just so very hard and time comsuming to stay gluten-free that you forget how really sick you were before you felt better. I know it must sound stupid the question I had asked but I just needed a reminder that this is...

  5. Sense I have been gluten free sinse Feb. 6, 2008 which I realize is only 3 weeks I have been on a mission to learn as much as possible about celiac as fast as possilbe.. Maybe it is just because I was so very sick for over 13 yrs before getting a right diagnoses and maybe I have my expectations too high. I truly thought that by this time I would be feeling...
  6. Question....Are you absolutely sure that this is chicken pox? Because you are Celiac...it may be Dermatitis Herpetiformus (sp?). I thought that I had poison Ivy last fall, before my diagnosis.....except that it didn't really look or act like poison ivy, wasn't helped with the usual treatments, and lasted a loooooong time. The blisters burned, and I wanted...
  7. No actually I am not for sure it is chicken pox but it sure looks like it but what you just discribed sounds like it too... 8. Anyone have any ideas as to how I can treat Chicken Pox at my age, 44 yrs. ?? I never had them as a child and it appears to be a very good chance that I have them. I want to itch my skin off !!! One would of thought if I had made it this long without getting them I was scott free of any chance of getting them, guess not. UGH !!!
  9. Hey All, I love the CSI humor going on right now I laughed so hard. I agree that humor is great to destress but I also have found out that stress certainly makes my symptoms worse. I just started to feel alittle better and then wham came the stress.... I do things like reading, knitting, crocheting and walks when I am not running to the bathroom...lol....

  11. I did forget to mention that I started a gluten-free multi, a gluten-free B complex, with the other stuff. I forget that I have been sick for over 13 yrs w/o a diagnoses and just recently correctly diagnosed. I guess I am so very worn down for so long and sick and tired of not feeling better that I expected I would feel better over night. Supid I guess or...
  12. Wow I have been sleeping alot lately and even after sleeping about 10 - 12 hours a night I am sleeping my days away lately. I have been gluten-free now for almost 2 weeks and just discoved that I can not tolerate any dairy a few days ago. When I am awake I have no energy and want to sleep.
