  1. Hopefully they are out there an healthy! They are certainly welcome to chime in and let us know. Hopefully they will get these notifications.
  2. Thank you @knitty kitty, I am taking Benfotiamine that was recommended to me by @Posterboy, as well as Magnesium Citrate and other vitamins like B complex, C, and D, to deal with RLS and now apnea. As my grandmother used to say..."it's hell getting old." I had no idea what she meant at the time because I was young.
  3. The article is just a summary of the published research. We typically don't inject other ideas or topics into our research summaries, but we do that when doing our own original articles that are not just summaries of research.
  4. Interesting, and I've been taking thiamine now for a couple of months, so we will see if it helps with my apnea.
  5. Be sure to re-check your diet and make sure it is 100% gluten-free. Eating out can definitely lead to cross-contamination.
  6. Celiac.com 12/19/2020 - If you're looking for a rich, delicious and gluten-free dessert to serve this holiday season, then this delightful cinnamon apple cheesecake in a gluten-free almond meal crust is sure to be a holiday hit. Almond...
  7. Not all soy sauces contain wheat, and the one used in Heintz Worcestershire sauce does not include wheat, and per our article, does not contain any gluten. Here are the ingredients: Ingredients : DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR,WATER ,MOLASSES ,HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP,SALT,SOY SAUCE(WATER,SALT,HYDROLYZED SOY PROTEIN,CORN SYRUP,CARAMEL COLORING)NATURAL...
  8. I spoke to an infectious disease doctor friend of mine regarding whether variant forms of the virus would somehow not be targeted by the vaccine, and he assured me that they will because this new vaccine is an RNA type of vaccine, which is a new approach to vaccines. More on this is here: https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/16/us/katalin-kariko-covid-19-vaccine...
  9. We used to allow longer edit times, But what was happening is that spammers were posting normal posts which were approved, and then they would go back later and add in spam links to their approved posts. It made it very hard to detect them.
  10. Welcome and feel free to ask any questions! This article might be helpful:
  11. I'm not sure of the exact product you have, but on their site: https://www.curel.com/en-us/products/dry-skin-care-therapy/ They list the following ingredients, and I don't believe any contain gluten, but there is a little warning at the end:
  12. Lara Bars have been considered to be gluten-free for a very long time now, and should be safe, especially if they say "gluten-free" on their label. On their home page they say: "... you can feel good about eating with many gluten free, dairy free & vegan options to choose from." https://www.larabar.com/
  13. Probably the only way to be certain would be to undergo a follow up biopsy, but having no detectable vitamin/mineral deficiencies could indicate that your gut is healing. Also, if your blood gluten antibodies have returned close to normal may also indicate this.
  14. The issue is that it does vary by country and genetic groups, so averaged out it may be somewhere near this number, but there really isn't enough data that has been collected worldwide yet to determine the actual number.
  15. Vaccines do not trigger autoimmune diseases, and no studies I've seen (I've summarized and read every study on celiac disease done since 1994), have indicated that vaccines have been linked in any way as a trigger of celiac disease. You claim that your celiac disease is not related to your genetics, but have you had a genetic test done? If so, what are the...
  16. Although some celiacs, perhaps up to 10%, cannot tolerate oat in their diet (this is considered a different issue than celiac disease), if they are labelled "gluten-free" in the USA they must test under 20ppm. So they should be gluten-free and safe for a celiac disease diet.
  17. I just want to share the category where our articles on thyroid issues and celiac disease reside: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
  18. I think they may mean type 2, and be using the Roman numerals here, as I've never heard of type 11. We have many articles summarizing new research and treatment of refractory celiac disease here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/refractory-celiac-disease-collagenous-sprue/ but the main thing...
  19. I would re-check your diet to be sure that it is really 100% gluten-free, as your symptoms do sound very close to what happens when some celiacs eat gluten. I'd also keep a food diary to see if there is any connection to other foods that many celiacs can be intolerant with, for example oats, eggs, corn, soy, nightshades, etc. You may need to do an elimination...
  20. You should likely keep eating gluten until all testing has been completed, so I am not sure why there is a mixed message about that, but perhaps you can push them to speed up the endoscopy date? Also, you said: But if 20 is the cut off for a positive celiac disease test, and you scored 34, I would not classify this as a mild to moderate positive....
  21. @Misslee Waving a book around in the video is a classic fallacy in an argument called "appeal to authority," and to say that I don't read is insulting, especially given the number of articles I've written or edited on this site, which now stands at over 5,300. No credible doctors are against vaccinations, especially given the ~1-4% death rate from covid-...
  22. On this page it says: "ZzzQuil PURE Zzzs Kidz Liquid Melatonin is drug-free & non-habit forming, contains no artificial flavors, is free of high-fructose corn syrup, gluten-free, lactose-free, and dye-free." https://www.zzzquil.com/en-us/product/kids-zzzs-melatonin-liquid-sleep-aid
  23. It's difficult to say for sure, but what typically happens is that the antibodies they are trying to measure drop on a daily basis as soon as you go gluten-free. Normally you need to eat gluten daily until you finish all tests for the results to be accurate. All you can do now is wait and see. Did you feel any better on a gluten-free diet?
  24. I don't believe that a vaccine gave you celiac disease, and there is no scientific evidence that vaccines cause any autoimmune disease, including celiac disease. If you make a claim like this you need to back it up with evidence. Sorry but Dr. Berg's video doesn't cut it. Besides a possible coincidence in the timing of you getting a vaccine and celiac disease...
