  1. Thank you for the clarification, and we've covered some of the research on corn, but feel free to post any research links on corn protein. Here is a summary we did way back in 2005, and if you look at the addition at the bottom the corn used in the study tested at 82ppm, and was contaminated with wheat gluten: We're aware that some celiacs have additional...
  2. In the hopes of cheering you up (but not making you get sick!), there are options at Taco Bell that don't contain any gluten ingredients, however, cross-contamination could be an issue. If you absolutely had to go there, I'd recommend taking a few GliadinX capsules beforehand. If you think you can't afford them, see the bottom of this page where you can get...
  3. If you make these claims you need to back them up with support, sorry but simply calling me ignorant doesn't cut it. I know for a fact that people with high blood pressure (like me) can take either vaccine when it becomes available. You made this claim, you need to provide the evidence to back it up.
  4. Regarding #1, this statement is not correct. People with allergies are allowed to take the vaccine. They currently recommend that if you have a history of allergies to vaccines that you take it at your doctor's office, or at a hospital setting where you can get anaphylaxis support if needed, and wait there for up to an hour afterwards. I've seen no rules...
  5. Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE: FLO) has amended its December 3, 2020 voluntary recall press release on two Canyon Bakehouse products to reflect additional geographic distribution for the Canyon Bakehouse Everything Bagels. The expanded distribution for the Canyon Bakehouse Everything Bagels includes retail customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York...
  6. Celiac.com 01/04/2021 - Researchers have long known that the common chronic skin disorder atopic dermatitis is associated with other atopic conditions. A growing body of evidence supports a connection with non-atopic conditions, including...
  7. The good news is that IF your neuropathy issues are gluten-related, then your symptoms should slowly go away if your diet is 100% gluten-free. Taking B vitamin supplements, including B12 can help, and you may want to include zinc and magnesium citrate as well. Here are some article on this: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related...
  8. Sure, you got all this great info about this future author who hasn't published their book yet from "a researcher at John Hopkins University," but could not remember the author's name, but you do know that they deleted their articles to make "corrections," and you even have the new link to their re-published article? Ok... So you haven't mentioned what...
  9. Of course any ingredient or food could be contaminated with gluten. This list assumes that each ingredient on it is pure.
  10. And how many have died from either of these covid vaccines...zero? How many now have taken it...millions? No deaths have been reported. Quit fear mongering @marc9803 . You still haven't mentioned ANYTHING here about the number of deaths worldwide so far from covid-19, the number of deaths that will occur without anyone getting a vaccine for covid-19, or the...
  11. Good luck, let us know how things turn out!
  12. It would be worth sending an email, or calling your doctor to see if you can get the results sooner, especially if you are suffering on a gluten-free diet. It sounds like all your celiac screening is now completed (I assume you had a blood test before your biopsy), and if so, you should be able to go gluten-free, but I'd let you doctor know beforehand.
  13. It is interesting for sure, and some past summaries we've done have shown that zinc deficiency is even more common than anemia: "67% of celiac patients showed zinc deficiency, 46% showed decreased iron storage, and 32% had anaemia."
  14. The important thing for you to know is that you should not go gluten-free at this point until you have the recommended biopsy. You need to keep eating gluten until all testing is finished. More and more doctors are diagnosing celiac disease by only using blood test results, although your results may not allow this, but you may want to discuss this with your...
  15. The number I used, 20, was pulled out of thin air, but the idea is that @Sotorp will have a lower reading than if they were eating gluten daily until the testing was concluded. If the cut off for celiac disease was 10 on a test and they score 7, but were gluten-free for a time before the test, what exactly will that tell you? Many doctors would tell them...
  16. This article nicely covers where things are with vaccine reactions, and concludes: “In general, the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the rare risks, experts say.” https://www.healthline.com/health-news/here-are-the-cdc-guidelines-for-allergic-reactions-to-covid-19-vaccines Millions have now been vaccinated, including my mother, and we are sim...
  17. The usual amount of time for an endoscopy would be two weeks of eating a slice of wheat bread each day, longer for blood tests:
  18. If you want a definitive diagnosis you may want to postpone the endoscopy for a few weeks and keep eating gluten until it’s finished, otherwise you may not get a clear answer, although your blood tests results probably indicate gluten sensitivity at the very least, and possible celiac disease.
  19. Is this an article or author biography, to me it seems like the latter, and doesn’t explain very much about their approach, other than this bit which I believe is misinformation: “few medical specialists are in fact aware of the actual inflammatory reactions which are caused by prolamins present even within cereals celiac patients are allowed to eat...
  20. Unless your goal is weight loss you need to eat more according to how much you exercise.
  21. Maybe, but such results might lead to a doctor telling you it’s not celiac disease “because you’re under 20,” which would be a false conclusion.
  22. @Kate333 My vertigo symptoms included a spinning sensation, and the feeling that I was going down in an elevator when I wasn’t in an elevator, and the feeling like you get if your standing on the edge of a tall building looking down. This sometimes triggered panic attacks which made it far worse. These symptoms actually started as far back as when I...
  23. As noted this article was originally published in 2008.
  24. Also, I did not get a chance to read it but since it was deleted by the author I’d be very suspect of this “new” way to explain and/or cure food intolerance.
