  1. The same thing happened to me. I went to a food allergist and he said because I had weight on that I couldn't be celiac. Even though I told him that the weight gain had happened in the last four or so years with a lot of the other symptoms. One thing I did after that allergist is keep a food log.   4. I am new to this website today. Have so many questions. Does anyone know a good doctor in NYC that understands celiacs? It took me 3 years to get diagnosed. I was having joint problems, hair falling out, tired all the time, back pain, and problems seeing at night. Each doctor sent me to a new doctor. Finally a nurse in one of the doctors office...
  5. Hello, I am was diagnose as a celiac about a year ago and am still having problems with things that I don't know if they are gluten free or not. Is maltodextrin allowed? I saw a doctor on a TV show say that its not but then some websites say that it ok for celiacs. Does anyone know?

  9. Received sample of a Belly Cream from Herbology Beauty Co. Whole company is gluten free because woman who started it is celiac. She said product would be going on sale this month. Had Organic Cocoa and Organic Shea Butter.
  10. I am one of the celiacs whose skin reacts. So happy to find others because I get so frustrated when I buy products, think the labels read free of gluten and an hour after using them I have bumps on my face. What I have found that is things in the products that are not listed cause me the most problems. For example alcohol in products gives me bumps. ...
