I'm sorry...I realize my post is a little confusing.... she has gas almost every night....it is certainly worst when we feed her yoghurt. so we just stopped giving her that....she still has gas most days so now I took out all gluten AND dairy from her diet. but she is on formula so I was wondering if we should change to soy milk as well. I stopped nursing...

if dd (8 months) has a problem with milk as well as gluten, would she necessarily have a problem with her infant formula? she spits up whan I give her yogurt (she usualy never spits up) and she looks like she's having reflux. her nights are HORRIBLE. she wakes up screaming and her little legs pop right up in the air....she wiggles in pain, passes gas and...

have you looked in Enterolab? I hear they have stool testing that is very accurate even with small babies try googling it....I also read alot about them on this forum and other celiac forums

here is an update.... we cut out gluten.....again.....and dd is miraculously sleeping throught the night again. she still wakes once or twice because she can't find her pacifier but the doesn't cry or seem uncomfortable and goes right back to sleep. mabye it's just a coincidence...or mabye I'm just in denial dh started a gluten-free...

as soon as I feed her gluten, she stops sleeping throught the night. she moves alot, wakes up crying, has gas. if I try a gluten free diet, she seems to sleep alot better. can this be a symptom?? she is 7 months and we are waiting on test results for celiacs. lately, she has been tolarating gluten alot better so we were thinking mabye...

I do not breastfeed anymore. I bf'd for 2 months only...dd never had any problems while on formula. she also tolerate everything but grains. Any kind, any brand of baby cereal causes her symptoms.
