While I can't really clarify on OTC medications. When it comes to hospital products, I can say that if in the hospital, do NOT allow them to give you Potassium Chloride. It contains gluten and will cause rather painful reactions such as burning veins, swelling of the area where the needle is, severe itching that will not go away. My brother in law was...
