    Love to hear the bird watching stories....and the avs! My HS Zoology teacher got me started as a teenager. Can't believe I've never seen a Pileated Woodpecker, though My in-laws see them on their property quite often.     It looks great, Paddeigh! I am so jealous of naturally curly hair. When I have a perm, that's all I do......wash, mousse and toss! But it grows out so fast and is so pharkin expensive!     Hi Harpy! I didn't start losing weight until I decided I was eating too many gluten-free substitutes, which usually contain a lot of rice, which quickly turns to sugar. Like Hummimngbird says.....no gluten free junk food. And I eat very little in the bread department. I also cut way back on pasta and rice dishes. When I need to snack.....I choose more...

    Well, I'm on a Candida diet (gluten-free too, of course), so no grains or sugar in any form for me Not easy, but I've lost a lot of weight, which I needed to do, and I still eat plenty!

    Welcome! I have not had to deal with CEA, but I just wanted to say that there are still a lot of grains you can have on a Celiac diet. Going gluten free could be to your benefit (well, it's to everyone's benefit ).....but what I mean is......many people say gluten is highly addictive. I wonder if compulsive eating is or can be controlled to some degree...
