About Me
Hey there! My name is Amanda. I am 32 and have been back on Tallahassee for four years now. I went to college at FSU from 1995-1999.
I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2004 and I was the 8th member of my family to be diagnosed. Hence the handle "Celiac#8"
I'm interested in meeting others in the Tallahassee area dealing with Celiac. I have a pretty amazing support group through my family, however, they live in West Palm so I am pretty much alone up here. Aside from my husband who is very understanding. He just hates that he has to give up pizza. (He's not "Silly"-ac as he playfully calls me.)
I'd Love to chat. Drop me a line if you are in Tally or know of any support groups in the area. I'm a teacher so I am pretty much just hanging out all summer. =)

WOW! Did not see that coming when I started to post on here. I was going to ask if you all were still meeting in Tallahassee. That is awful. I just happened across Rock Hammer's posts on the web and was thrilled to see someone trying to get a group together. I'm sorry for your loss to all who knew him. If there is still going to be a group, I am interested...
