  1. Hi Everyone- I have been gluten-free for 2 years and have NEVER cheated ( to my knowledge anyway) and all of a sudden, I am getting the same symptoms I had when I first was diagnosed with celiacs. No matter what I ate, my stool was a tan color and was a "fatty" stool. I was often constipated and never felt emptied. After seeing doing tests, we discovered...

  3. Thank you so much...I will definately look into the web page. Although, I saw the leading endocronologist at U of Chicago and was told he was THE BEST. Oh well, I am so sick of doctors right now. OK, here are some numbers: WIth regards to vit D...This is exactly how it appears: 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D Range: 10-52 ng/mL and I am at 57. FSH- 4.9 T4...
  4. My hair is totally falling out and the whole texture has changed ( become very thin). I have gotten all these tests done and the doctors all say things are normal...are they? I have seen the top endocronolgist and have gotten all the tests done and they were all normal ( expect my T3...which they said had to do with my excersize and food...told me to eat...
  5. This is so strange...I too have always ;labled myself a "picker" and recently I was told that I might be suffering from bi-polar II. They want to put me on an anti-seizure medication...do you mind letting me know the medication you are on?
  6. I didn't even think about talking with lactation consultants. Thanks for the great advice. I will contact some now
  7. I actually saw the head endocronologist at University of Chicago and he did ever test imaginable and he said my thyroid is fine...so I feel like I am running out of options.
  8. My thyroid was fine...and I got every possible test done with my throid too...that was actually my first thought and I was banking on it being a problem, but it was fine. The only number a wee bot offf was my T3, but even thyroid if that was a bigger problem, the symptoms I am having are not related to that. At this point, I wish it was my thyroid so I...
  9. I have been gluten-free for 1 year (and have never cheated...or at least, not on my part) and when I was first diagnosed they said as soon as I am gluten-free, my intestines will heal. I recently got a follow-up TTG number and it was 1.5 ( before it was >100). At this point, do my intestines absorb nutrients? I never have really had symptoms, but...
  10. HOLY COW!!! So I just did some research and I want to pull out some quotes that literally STOPPED me in my tracks The cause of chronic urticaria is often hard to pinpoint. Although the cause is currently unknown, it is thought to be related to a person's own immune system triggering the reaction. "Some types of chronic urticaria worsen with increased...
  11. Yes to the night sweats...when I actually sleep ( and it has nothing to do with the baby). I wake up after around 3 hours ( totally soaked) and ,for example, I was unable to fall back asleep for the rest of the night. I am starting to think I might be menapausal because these all seem like symptoms to me and I have not gotten my period...is that possible...
  12. I am hoping that it is still hormones, but it just seems so weird how it changed within 2 weeks. I mean, the whole texture of my hair when from being normal, to being so thin and truly just different. My family, in their most loving way, told me that they can see how my hair has changed. I guess my big question is that until I can figure this whole thing...
  13. I actually was just going to ask the same question if DH can look like hives? After I work out in the morning and/or if I do not get eough fluids, I tend to break out in rashed anywhere I put pressure ( so if I am sitting, it will be on teh back of my thighs etc.) It is VERY itchy and when I scratch them, they tend to turn into welts...but never blisters...
  14. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! When my daughter turned 8 mnths we went to FL and I introduced food so her breastmilk intake went down ( I am asssuming). After 2 weeks, the entire consistency of my hair changed ( it seems like over night) and it looks as though half my hair is gone.
