Did you have to specifically request Quest or was that the lab your doctor already used? I'm probably putting too much thought in to this. Sal

I have read on several Celiac disease websites that a "reliable" laboratory such as Prometheus, Mayo or Quest should be used for celiac panels. How much of this do you think is really the need for a specific laboratory versus an advertising plug from one corporation to another? I want the best. And I want other's opinions. Sal

Ginny, Reading through the post it seems your question did not get answered. The only thing I see missing is a Total IgA. This is also called a quantitative IgA. If you are IgA deficient then the other IgA dependent tests such as ttG and EMA would not be accurate. Salomeh
