Naturopathic doctors use a simple test to diagnose leaky gut. You drink a solution of water and 2 sugars(I think mannulose is one; I can't remember the other). One is a large molecule sugar and the other is a small molecule. Then you collect all urine for several hours and it gets mailed to a diagnostic lab where they check the ratio between the 2 sugars...
