  1. Thanks, I"m going to give it a try. Is it okay to take with digestive enzymes and glutamine? Also, I'm running a marathon in 2 weeks. Should I wait to start this afterwords, since it could be doing damage control for a little while??? Not sure what would be worse, that or the bloat
  2. diagnosed a month ago...went gluten free for 3 weeks and then decided to go casein and soy free as well. I'm a marathoner, so I started taking glutamine after my workouts b/c read that exercise could be lowering that amino acid and messing with my digestive system. I also started taking a digestive enzyme and acidol,,,s bacteria stuff. It is like clock...

  4. I was diagnosed a few weeks ago. I keep messing up when i go gluten free. My last mess up was a lactase digestive enzyme i was taking...just happened to look one day at the ingredients and it said 'contains wheat' Ugh!!! And the mess ups are so much more serious than when I was eating wheat. I have so many questions. I'm a very internet savy person and...

  8. Well, i just read that the new calcium chews that I bought yesterday had caramel coloring which is a no/no...i took it in the morning. Would my reaction had been that delayed as I didn't notice it until around 8pm???
  9. I have been reading a lot about baked cheetos and looks like there could have been some cross-contamination possibility there. I'm still pretty positive that it is a gluten reaction b/c i'm getting the mouth ulcers this morning. UGH! Doesn't take much does it? those 2 days of bliss were nice though...I can't remember the last time I haven't felt bloated...
  10. i went to a dietician after being diagnosed and they said vanillan (sp) was safe and milk duds is on the safe snack list. Hmmm... this is definately the gluten bloat, not just being bloated from running. I'm a marathon runner that is why I eat so many calories
  11. Hey guys...I'm new to the gluten intolerant world. Diagnosed a few weeks ago. After two weeks I felt the best I've felt in years. The bloat was gone and i had more energy than ever. But lastnight I ate something that triggered a reaction and I can't figure out what did it. I need your help. I would also like to know if reactions occur immediately after...
  12. After two weeks off of gluten I have become extremely fatigued...like going to bed at 8pm. I also have a huge appetite. Is this normal? Will it pass? Does anyone know the science behind this and what causes it? And are there any other symptoms that I need to look out for while coming off gluten? thanks a bunch! Oh yeah, and I'm also a runner. I run...
