  1. Raven: I've been doing the challenge for little over a week now. That pain that I described went away after slowly increasing gluten intake. Now I just feel generally unwell after meals containing wheat (or those that are particularly oily).
  2. I was wondering about this exact thing. I will be having a gastroscopy in early march and wanted to go back on eating gluten (been gluten free since start of dec 08). I found that even eating a small piece of wheat (a shreddies cereal piece) would cause pain a few minutes after on the right side of my body, beneath the ribcage. The pain would then move...
  3. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I have finally gotten frustrated enough to keep a diary of what I eat and how I feel afterwards. I found that even after eating non-dairy, non-gluten (as far as I can tell) foods, I could feel nauseous, bloated etc. I have never been tested for allergies, though I may have to find out, especially about the nightshade...
  4. Thanks for the response. The reason I asked the question was that my GI doctor told me that the blood test catches 95% of celiacs. I found that number to be pretty high. I am scheduled to see a rheumatologist, but it will be a while before the appointment. I am now trying to go off all foods that give me issues, and may try reintroducing gluten once...

  6. I am of Punjabi-Indian origin and I suspect I have celiac. I was also wondering if there are others of south-asian descent who had celiac since my doctor was surprised by my assertion that I might have it (since I am not of European background).
