I just tested negative too, so I too can relate to your disappointment. I've been gluten free for years and most of the symptoms went away for quite some time. Please do try the diet. Don't let the long lists of forbidden foods overwhelm you. It isn't as complicated as it looks. And, it is getting easier and easier to stick to the diet, due to more products...

My son injured his leg last week and although the hospital stitched him up, he insisted the pain in his leg was not related to the injury. Both test results arrived in the mail today. Oh, surprise.... lgA and lgG are both low on the <20 scale. lgG 2 lgA 4 with <20 showing negative. Knowing this means nothing after only one week of eating gluten before the test...still doesn't make me a happy camper. Oh, and, RiceGuy....yep, yep about the antibiotics. Every time I've taken any for the past five years or so I've gotten thrush. Also thrush after two dental appointments. That was part of why they sent me to the 'disease specialist'. Thanks again for your feedback.
