  3. Hi. I am the mom of a 10 year old boy who just moved from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. He will be attending his first camp out without me. His leader and fellow campers are comitted to helping us work thru the "food Issues" (He was diagnosed at 3 and has been Gluten Free ever sense.)   5. My seven year old son will be undergoing an endo procedure soon. He had this done 4 years ago when he was diagnosed but does not remember it. Anyone know of any books/pamphlets on explaining this to a child of his age?
  6. [Lucy, I appreciate the the thought but I don't think this is it. He has had several bad accidents over the past few years and knows how sick he gets. Alot of the time he second guesses me as to wether he can eat someting or not. However, he is a kid and anything is possible!
  7. Roo, Matthew has grown 2 inches in the past 5 months or so and 6 inches in the past 18months according to his Peds GI Doc. Not sure what is normal per se, but he sure seems to be bigger everyday and his doc was quite please with his progress.
