I need to vent so bad. I am struggling so with the need to be gluten-free. I was sent to a GI in May 2004 by my primary after she did some bloodwork based on my symptoms. She said she was looking for celiac. The GI did a biopsy and gave me the good news that I don't have celiac. So then what is the cause for the constant diarhea, stomach aches, etc...

Wow, it is as if I wrote this myself. I was tested positive by Enterolab. I have "the gene" too and a mother who has serious stomach problems but is stubborn about getting tested. I was referred to Dr. Stein by my GP in May 2004 and I will not go back to him. I was having severe stomach problems so he did a biopsy of my small intestine to rule out celiac.
