  4. My mother has been diagnosed with celiac disease and started a gluten-free diet last week. She has had gas and burning gastrointestinal pain since. Has anyone else had this experience? Is it a normal reaction and if so, how long does it take for the pain to subside?
  5. My mother has symptoms that sound similar to celiac, including gastrointestinal and neurological symptoms. She asked her Dr. to test her for celiac and he ordered an anti-gliadin IgA and anti-gliadin IgG.
