  1. I know this is a gross topic, but how can you tell if there is fat in your stool? All I ever read is pale and smelly. Or greasy. And what is "foul smelling", doesn't all poop smell bad???! haha. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  2. The reference range says 70-400 on the lab test. So it is low but still normal. I'm going to try to talk tot he GI doctor again today. I just feel like IBS isn't the best diagnosis, and if that's what they decide, then what? What the heck am I supposed to do with that??
  3. So, I guess my problems are not related to celiac.... Gliadin Iga: <1.2 Gliadin IgG: <1.2 Transglutamin IgA: <1 Transglutamin IgG: 1 Endomysial Ig AB: negative IgA Quantitative: 113 So, I guess either I'm crazy, or it is just IBS.... Thanks to everyone for answering questions for me and being supportive.
  4. These are tests that are still pending: Gliadin IgA, Gliadin IgG, Transglutamin IgA, Transglutamin IgG, Endomysial Ab IgA, Quantitative IgA Of course my H. Pylori test came back negative. If I'm above or below any of these ranges, does that prove or disprove celiac? Thanks!
  5. I spoke with a GI doctor today, and he ordered a full celiac panel as well as h. pylori. I am hoping that something comes up so I can get passed all these issues. I will post my results when they come in
  6. Hi! I have not been diagnosed either...but I have this pain all the time. It's a habit for me to rub the area! I'm always told it's gas, and then in college I had mono, and they said it was my spleen, then that was over and it was gas again! Now I'm wondering.... I am counting the days to see the GI doc and get scoped. I feel so yucky. My stomach...
  7. Hi! I went to see my PCP yesterday, who at least admitted she didn't have a lot of expertise in GI issues, and recommended I see a GI doctor to get scoped and to have more extensive blood work done. Other than that, she thinks it's IBS, unless otherwise ruled out. So, she wants me to start taking gas-x and nexium. I'm going to wait on this until I see...
  8. Thanks for all the help. I am planning to go see my PCP on Friday. I've only seen her once, but at that time I really liked her, so hopefully she will listen to me. I suppose if all else fails I could just go gluten free and see if it makes me feel better!! Along with the ferritin I also had a low Vitamin D, which I just read is also a symptom. But...
  9. Thank you both very much. I forgot to mention too that my ferritin (iron stores) were very low a few months back, but I'm not technically anemic. I will be sure to address all of this with my physician next week when I see her. Depending on what she says, I may just do an elimination type diet to see if anything makes me feel any better. Does...
  10. Hi! Since birth I've had issues with food, even when I was being breastfed. My mom said she just kept cutting foods out until she was basically eating fruits and vegetables. I also have had lifelong insomnia. I am now 26. As a child I had to always bring my own food to pre school and elementary school. I had to avoid milk at all costs, among...
