  1. Thank you all for the information! I still have not found sorghum flour/teff flour and I cannot use canola oil. But I have found guar guar and tapioca (but in 'pearls') and my health food store is going to get lactose-free butter so I'm delighted about that. I know how to make ghee but it does seem quite laborintesive to me and I can't find it in the store...
  2. Hi Rumbles! I tried the soda-trick but I had to stop halfway because I felt like I was going to puke wonder what that says about my stomach... I washed it down with a glass of water, then I let out a burp after 10 minutes. What's next? Joekie
  3. Hi, Coming from the store almost empty-handed when it comes to snacks and breakfastproducts, I decided to attempt at baking but it didn't come out very well (it were a sort of rice krispie bars). When I look at recipes for glutenfree cookies, muffins, scones... I feel my hands are tied. I can not use egg and butter/margarine/coconut oil/sunflower oil...

  5. Hi rumbles, I have never noticed any specific symptoms after eating something. I always felt as if 'I could not digest food well'. Anything. My general symptoms were mainly obstipation, bloating, not feeling hungry, being underweight. Very vague. I never thought it was because of a specific kind of food. The intolerances unexpectedly showed up in a blood...
  6. Hi, what is weird to me is that the D only started after going glutenfree. I have more bloating than I used to too. It feels as if the 'intolerance'-symptoms only started when I actually stopped eating those things? The doctor limited more things than gluten, diary and egg because of omega 3-6-imbalance (and as a result constant inflammation) thus I can...
  7. I have been -seriously- underweight for 9 years, am diagnosed with egg/gluten/lactose intolerance just a month ago. On this board I read many people gain weight after going glutenfree, which makes me feel hopeful. But I also read that many loose more weight initially. So am I right now. I've been having D for a good 3 weeks now plus there's a lot of abdominal...
  8. Hi, I'm very new to this! I had a blood test done that showed positive IgG for gluten, lactose and egg. Together with a high serotonine level and low iron, the doctor concluded I have 'leaky gut syndrome'. I'm not sure. I'm thinking of asking another doctor for a second opinion, based on the bloodwork. The thing is: if he suggests to do a gastroscopy to...
  9. purple: No I did not have all my childhood vaccinations and no I have no fillings. I skipped the rubella vaccination. I don't see the link with bowl problems? Ali: my skepticism towards candida is based on my sister's experience. She did the diet and it didn't do anything for her. She's gone all the way on the 'alternative track' to no avail. So I'm like...
  10. Wow, many intresting things have been said here!! I had actually picked up a bug just before the food poisoning happened. So it's possible my gut was still 'in a weaker state' than normally. My mom and sis had eaten the same thing, my sis was only sick for a day. My mom for a month but she'd already had many bowl problems before. I have found out,...
  11. The doctor I went to is a GP specialised in nutrition. I don't have the kind of results that are chinese to me, like you're all talking about with Q's and such. The results of the bloodtests say: specific IgG (what is IgG?) F 245-Egg ++ 68.0 F 76-Lactalbumine + 20.7 F 77-B-Lactoglubine 13.3 F 78-Caseine 14.1 F 4-Wheat 15.0 F 79-Gluten ++ 22.1 ...
  12. Thanks for replying! What I'm taking: -probiotic powder in the morning (Lactibiane Reference -Lactosefree-) -powder that is supposed to boost my dopamine (first ingredi
  13. I have had digestive problems since a food poisoning 9 years ago. After an endoscopy, which showed no abnormalities, I assumed I had ibs. I had a blood test done and it showed intolerances for egg, lactose and gluten. This doctor (specialised in nutririon) drew the conclusion (?) that I have a leaky gut. He claims the food posoining might have damaged my...
