I was diagnosed in January, and I haven't ventured out to any buffets. I only do restaurants with gluten-free menus. Does anyone have any general suggestions for what to pick? I'm going to Vegas next week, and I don't want to miss out on the Flamingo's seafood buffet!

I'm traveling from Dallas to El Paso for a conference with husband and kids. We've never been to West Texas, so I want to feel like we "experienced life" there. I'm talking about good (gluten-free) Mexican food. Can anyone recommend some local restaurants -- fast food or sit down? I would like to know what ya'll eat there. Thanks!

I was looking for something today, and I stumbled to an online list from Wal-mart about 706 gluten-free items available in the store! Here is the link: Open Original Shared Link It has pictures and everything. It takes a while to print, but I think it is well worth it! -
TONIGHT I am invited to a family gathering at Uncle Julio's in Allen, Texas. I ate there the week before I was diagnosed, but I don't want to go if they have nothing for me. Has anyone eaten there or talked to a manager? I'm not picky -- anything would do!

A new ALL GLUTEN-FREE restaurant opened ten minutes from my house! It is located at Central Expressway and Parker Road in Plano, Texas. (Plano is in the north-east corner of the Dallas area.)
