  1. I have been diagnosed with celiac, and have had outbreaks of dh on my forehead for about 2 years now. I do use a cream from my doc that minimizes the outbreaks. However, this past weekend I used coppertone sunscreen and my forehead now has a huge dh breakout. Could this be just from the heat of the sun, or is the coppertone sunscreen a culprit? I though...

When I was diagnosed, my celiac blood results were so high that my doctor and the gastro specialist both said that there was no reason to proceed with a biopsy (also have family members who have it). I have heard that the gastro specialist should have done the biopsy for an accurate diagnosis. I have also heard that the blood tests now are 100% conclusive...
  4. My endomysial IGA antibody number is 1:2470. The normal is <1:5. My GI doc said this was the highest he has ever seen.

  6. According to the gastro specialist I went to, the endomysial IGA antibody titer is the main one they look at for a definitive celiac diagnosis. A normal is <1:5
  7. I guess mine is quite high then. Is the gliadin IGA the same as the endomysial IGA antibody? If so, then yours is 1:17?

  9. I was told that I definitely have celiac according to the blood test result #'s below: ttg iga: >100 iga: 625 endomysial IGA antibody: 1:2280 My doc told me that the last one was EXTREMELY high, and due to this, she saw no reason to pursue an endoscopy. So...I guess I go gluten free now.
