  1. Thanks for the comments. In regards to what my main symptoms are, cramps, diarrhea, bloating, gas. And, as I mentioned before, the only time in the past six or so years I haven't experienced these any of things, was when I ate a very low carb, high protein diet. It feels very much food-related. But I just can't figure out the food! My symptoms are completely...
  2. Hi all, Upon the suggestion of some of you here, I tried an elimination diet because going gluten-free just wasn't helping. I've cut out all common allergens. All I've eaten in the past five weeks are: bananas, grapes, pineapple, carrots, asparagus, broccoli, salmon, tilapia, shrimp, scallops, lamb, walnuts, pecans, and extra virgin olive oil, honey, and...
  3. Thanks again to those who replied. I think I will try eliminating dairy, because I do have stronger reactions when I consume dairy, or at least milk and ice cream. I just can't stop wondering why I felt the best when I was practically eating ONLY cheese. And, to answer whether or not I've seen a rheumetologist, yes, many times actually. And, after many...
  4. To all who replied, thanks. I really appreciate the advice and support. In regards to the casein issue, what's interesting is that the one time in the past seven years that I've felt normal was a couple years ago when I tried the Atkins diet. I ate almost nothing but meat and cheese for a couple weeks (I stopped because my dad convinced me of how unhealthy...
  5. I haven't knowingly ingested gluten since early September (and have been excessively cautious about everything I've put in my mouth), and, after three gluten-free months, I feel no difference whatsoever. Granted, I've yet to be diagnosed with celiac, but I've had bloodwork done that suggested I might have it and I can relate to so many of the symptoms discussed...
  6. Phew! That's a relief! Thanks for posting the answer!
  7. Thanks for the replies! Richard, hearing that you've never found a brie that wasn't gluten-free makes me want to do cartwheels!
  8. Hello! I just started a gluten-free diet and I'm a BIG fan of brie cheese. I can't get enough of it. Does anyone know if there's any reason why it might contain gluten? Or does anyone know of any definitely gluten-free brands? Thanks!
  9. When you find out, can you post the answer? I'm on day six of being gluten-free, and I've been taking it. I guess I shouldn't assume that since ortho tricyclen is gluten-free that ortho tricyclen lo is gluten-free too, eh? Thanks in advance!
