I have been diagnosed with celiac since 8/08 been trying to stay gluten free, but I can`t breath it, wear it ,touch it, smell it. Lost my job because of that. Can`t go into the deli/bakery area of any store, can`t go down the bread isle or the baking isle. Most colognes, perfumes, cosmetics, shampoos and conditioners have gluten in them either as fillers... -
My wife was diagnosed with Celiac in July 2008. Now her problem is she can`t even breath gluten, even shampoos, conditioners, colognes, and makeup has to be gluten free. I can`t even wear afthershve lotion. If she breaths it then she has ashma symptoms, so they gave her an inhaler and then that makes her sugar bottom out. She can`t go over on the deli side...

Hi Greg ,my wife filed disability in Sept 08 .She has been denied 2 times. Her problem is not only she can`t eat gluten, but she can`t breath it either. She can`t breath perfumes ,colognes, make up , we can`t have wheat bread in the house. She has an asthma attack when she gets in contact with any thing with gluten. She has had to change all makeup and shampoos...
