  1. Hi - we are heading down to Disneyland in a couple of weeks, staying for 1.5 weeks. 4 in our family are celiac and we are in need of any tips for eating gluten-free while down there or if anyone knows of any restaurants that have gluten-free items in and around anaheim. Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks
  2. I live in Alberta, Canada and all my kids + myself are celiac. We seem to be having trouble with restaurants, but have come across the greatest "fastfood" restaurant. 5. Thanks for your help! I have gone gluten-free since the tests came back, but thought I'd ask!

We are born with the genes, but it seems that a trigger of some kind is needed to "activate" the genes and begin the autoimmune response. The trigger is typically something...
  7. I am new to this site, but what I've read so far, it seems very helpful. Here's our story. Son, 7, had been experiencing symptoms of celiac, but we tried removing lactose from his diet back in Sept 08. He seemed to be feeling better, but then around Christmas he got a lot sicker. We really watched what he was eating and were more and more convinced. ...
