Very interesting about the McDonalds fries. I must say I'm tempted to give them a try since lots of people here eat them with no trouble. I can almost taste them already. Thanks.

According to the McDonalds website: Open Original Shared Link The french fries are NOT gluten free! They have a natural beef flavor that has wheat in it. I remember checking Burger King's website, and their fries are gluten free. I've eaten BK fries with no problem.
  3. Yes, Tiffany, you are very perceptive, and your advice has been a tremendous help to me. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I found a 6 week marriage builder class at a church starting in January, and believe it or not, my hubby agreed to go. I think he knows there are some issues here. I hope that we are able to open our lines...
  4. Thanks for all the great responses. Tiffany, you're right, I'm a total people pleaser. It worked great for me in the past. I was one of those people with endless energy who loved doing things for others and didn't need much time to myself. I thrived that way. The good old days... Now my body just won't function at that level. The patterns and relationships...
  5. I am at my wits end with this and just thought maybe someone out there could relate or help me. I've been married for 10 years and have three young children. I thought we had a good marriage, but in the last 1.5 years since I've been dealing with my health issues, things have soured. I was so sick for a while and so exhausted that I would fall asleep on...
  6. Thank you for this wonderful post. I am not known for being overly emotional, but this brought me to tears. What a great outlook you have, and it is so nice to think about focusing on the true pleasures in life. I am only 7 months into this crazy gluten free journey, and while I feel a million times better, I still have some complaints and hope that they...
  7. OK, just got my EnteroLab results back. I am so confused. My Anti-gliadin IgA was within the normal range, and the Anti-tissue Transglutaminase IgA is just slightly elevated. Does this mean I do or do not have gluten sentitivity??? My symptoms have not been intestinal- I have been diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid disease, have had lots of joint pain...
  8. I am so happy to have found this out. I have been gluten free for about two months now, and feeling sooo much better. But, I have not for the life of me been able to figure out why almost every mid-afternoon I get an overwhelming wave of exhaustion, which is usually accompanied by nausea. Ding, ding! It is these darn multivitamins that I have been taking...
