Ok, I took my son to the Pedi GI yesterday. I have been thinking celiac disease since the allergist told me that wheat may be the culprit. I never saw the numbers, but his IgE's were 124 at 2 years old. The concentration was kU/1. Now, I am confused. The pedi GI ordered all IG's. IgE, IgA, IgG, etc. I thought they were all realted to allergy?? He also ordered...

First off, at two years old, they are more then capable of going for longer peroids of time w/o food. Your son is nursing way to much, and is using you as a pacifier. You, as a Mom, need to limit your son's nursing. I too, am not tryin g to sound harsh, but, you need ot find anotehr comfort source. I am not saying to quit nirsing totally, but, he does not... -
Ok, I fist posted yeserday.....update....my son spent the day with severe stomach cramps. (I gave him bread before coming here.) He also spent the nite puking his little guts up. I have a question..my son is higly allergic to dairy. I have him on say milk. My DBF told me soy is a gluten. Is it? Jenn

Hi, I have really no advice. My son has not been Dx with Celiac's, we are in the beginign stages, but I am 110% positive that is what he has. My Mom just does not get it.
